We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy while you use the SONDO Primaire platform.

Article 2 – Data controller

In the context of the GAR, the data controller is the Minister in charge of National Education. The GAR treatment is defined by an order issued by the Minister in charge of National Education. In this case, the publisher is a subcontractor of the Minister within the meaning of the GDPR. GAR GDPR notices:

In non-GAR uses, the data controller is DASEN.

Article 3 – Purposes

The SONDO Primary library uses the user's personal data in order to:

– display the name of the user when he is connected,

– display to a teacher user the names of the students belonging to the groups,

– to characterize a user with a teacher role in order to allow him to assign books to students or groups,

– list the groups (classes, etc.) to which a user belongs in order to associate the books assigned to a group

On the other hand, the SONDO Primary service uses usage data (books read) in order to establish usage statistics for works of literature.

Article 4 – Legal basis of processing

In the context of the GAR, the legal basis is defined in the RGPD notices of the GAR: https://gar.education.fr/mentions-informatives-rgpd/

Outside GAR, the framework is defined in the contract established between the school and IM FRANCE.

Article 5 – Data collection

For their proper functioning, the SONDO Primary service collects (mandatory) the data transmitted by the GAR (or the ENT in a framework outside the GAR):

– surname and first name of the user

– user group

– school of the user

The following usage data is collected (mandatory):

– connection logs (for the purposes of diagnosis and analysis of technical problems)

– book selection and book reading

Processing of personal data

IM France records the personal data, including first name, last name and email address, of administrators and any other contact person/individuals within the school.

However, personal information about students is not mandatory. This information is only recorded if it is provided by the school.

Article 6 – Recipients or categories of data recipients

The recipients of the data listed in article 5 are IM FRANCE and the technical subcontractors bound by contract to IM France.

Article 7 – Duration of data retention

The data retention period is in accordance with the provisions of the GAR Contract: the data is erased at the end of the school year (end of August).

Article 8 – Rights of data subjects

For the personal data provided by the GAR attributes, the data are those of the information system of the school. Requests for access or modification must be addressed to the Ministry of National Education, as detailed in the GDPR notices of the GAR: https://gar.education.fr/mentions-informatives-rgpd/

For personal data produced when using the resource (use of books), requests should be sent to IM France: dpo@mobidys.fr

The persons whose data are processed have a right of information, access, rectification of the data concerning them, as well as a right of opposition and a right to limit processing. You can access the data concerning you and exercise the rights of access, rectification and limitation that you hold under articles 15, 16 and 18 of the GDPR, at the following address: dpo@mobidys.fr

In the same way, you can exercise the rights provided for in article 85 of the modified law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms.

Article 10 – Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL

If you believe, even after having lodged a complaint with the Ministry responsible for national education, that your rights in terms of the protection of personal data have not been respected, you have the possibility of lodging a complaint with the Commission. As part of the exercise of your rights, you must prove your identity by any means. Article 11 – Cookies and trackers

A cookie (or cookie) is a set of data stored on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile) through your browser software when consulting an online service. On the pages accessed by users identified on the SONDO Primary service (including teachers and students), attendance tracking (via cookies or any other means) is not active. However, technical information concerning the authentication of a user and data concerning reading preferences are stored in the form of cookies. These cookies are not subject to the prior consent of the user.

SONDO Primaire App

Through their SONDO account, students can access all the textbooks and literature they have studied in class, in a version that can be adapted and personalised to their needs. The platform is accessible on all digital media: smartphone, tablet and computer, in order to best support the pupil in his or her learning and help him or her develop autonomy. Access to the SONDO platform is open to all pupils attending member schools.
